Back at Mr Q for today’s video, having not played here for a couple of weeks. Another tough session though, probably a result of trying a few tougher games to land. The issue with these is that if your luck is out (as mine clearly was), it results in a succession of “no bonuses.”
For example, I was hoping to bring you Holy Hand Grenade again, having had a good bonus already on this game. I switched between 60p and 90p with the enhanced chance, but despite many teases, still did not land it, it ultimately lead to a bigger loss with nothing to show. It’s the frustrating part of playing bonus hunts, both time and money wasted with nothing to show.
Of course it is inevitable, but it would be a lot easier to just bonus buy on certain games and at least have something to show for your money. It’s a double-edged sword though, bonus buys take away the prospect of landing a bonus for peanuts, and a bought one can pay nothing, just like a natural one often does. The quick way to the poor house perhaps, yet still, the option would be nice.
Rant over, I have got some decent games in the list today, but with the cost there is certainly work to do. I can only hope for at least one really good bonus to minimise the damage, but with only 8 to play, the chances are slim. Expecting a loss, but there are games in here from Push and Hacksaw that are more than capable…
