Time for my Friday bonus hunt, and I am hoping it’s a good one today, I certainly have a promising situation to start from. Before I get into the details, just a quick review of the recent set of videos I did at Mr Vegas. That was an attempt at the wagering for a £400 deposit match, and I have checked the numbers to work out how I fared overall.
The answer is pretty much on a par with what I was expecting. It took me a total of 11 bonus hunts to complete the wagering, and across those bonus hunts I lost a total of £625. I had it down as £1,000 in deposits and a withdrawal of £375 at the end. This also accounts for the bonus increments awarded along the way, and the Friday booster thing they run which keeps a proportion of your wins in a pot for the end of the week.
Without the deposit match, the cost of the 11 bonus hunts was in the region of £1,000, approx £100 per attempt. Note that I received the £40 increments along the way, 10 in total so it was pretty much one per hunt. Overall I think a loss of £100 per session probably averages out about right. I was particularly unlucky on a couple of these, I guess on another day I could have finished very close to evens. Still, this is the way the capricious nature of luck manifests itself, and shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone familiar with playing these games.
Onto today, and I am pleased to report that I have run very well indeed. I was enjoying the play, so have continued for a huge 12 game bumper bonus hunt. There’s only one failure in the end, which was Cherry Pop Deluxe. I used to really enjoy the “pop” style games, but I have found them seriously hard work lately. I will continue to give them the odd try, but it just seems like endless expensive “no bonuses” at the moment.
As for the rest of them, it’s not often I will assemble this many games for this price. I am fairly confident of break even at absolute worst, really, this lot should put me ahead on any sort of average day.
