Firstly, seasons greetings to one and all. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and here’s to a healthy and happy New Year. Thank you all for all the support this year.

Continuing at Betfred today, where last time out was a bit of a dent to the balance. I had been on a decent run there but lost just under £200 after having a tough time landing the bonuses in the first place. Today, if anything, has been worse.

After last time I was a little reluctant to give up on anything, persisting with a few perhaps a little beyond what I should have done. In the early part of the hunting phase I had 3 very expensive fails, and as a result have ended up going all the way down to £600. The net result was 10 bonuses, and the feeling that it was just one of those days. In the end, the no bonuses have contributed over £500 of the cost, so I guess I should be grateful for the ones that actually landed. Despite the cost, it could have been worse.

All goes to show how fragile Lady Luck can be. A bad session like this can become a seriously expensive afternoons entertainment, even at these stakes. Please do remember the importance of money management, setting your limits etc. I shouldn’t have allowed myself to get quite so involved today, but it is easily done.

The net result of all this is that I have largely ended up with games that I consider amongst my favourites, the ones that are usually reliable to land, and fair in running. It’s not foolproof (see the last video), but sometimes it does feel better to stick to the games you know.

I have included Eternal Phoenix again today, continuing my attempt to max it out on the maximum ways. Hopefully one day I will make it! To get out of this mess I could do with it being today…
