This follows my bonus hunt video from Wednesday, where I had finished at a fairly significant loss. It was another text book example of the two key things going wrong – it took too long to get the bonuses, and nothing much fired. Always going to be hard work when that is the case.

Lately it feels a bit like one step forward, two steps back. I just cannot string a sequence of winning results together. Of course I expect to lose over time, but I do recall a time last year where my run was significantly more favourable than lately. I will perhaps have a look back at the games I was playing at the time and try a few of those once again.

Today I am playing off just over £400, with 10 games banked. This feels like a superb starting position compared to recent ones, so I am vaguely hopeful in setting a break-even target. I’d be delighted to recover the costs for once, just to change the record.
